Are Bronco II doors the same as on early explorer?
What another vehicles use the same concentric clutch slave cylinder as Bronco II?
I am not in USA, Bronco's are very rare here and I would like to know what vehicles could be parts donors. Looks like european ford models use hydraulic clutch actuators very rarely
You din't say what year your was.As for the Doors yes the will work.they made 2 or 3 types of clutches for the BII if you find one the same years as yours it will work. !983-1988 BII and Rangers parts are the same.1989-1990 BII and Ranger are the same,Some of the parts will interchange on all them. Also some 1991-1995 Explorer parts will work to.
To know which slave cylinder to get, you need to identify your transmission.BII's used four different manual transmissions: TK-5 (mostly earlier models), two Mitsubishi transmission (FM145 and 146, mostly middle models), and the Mazda M5OD (later models, also Explorers). Year by itself isn't going to identify your transmission, because they overlapped.
OK I did not say anything about transmission. Transmission is mitsubishi, I am not sure 145 or 146 but looks like they have same clutch cylinder.
I am not sure about production year because this one is kind of mix of three different vehicles One was rolled, then previous owner tried to swap the body, but that body was crashed too, left front corner. So few body parts come from yet another vehicle.
From this mix I have two engines, one mitsubishi manual transmission and one A4LD, and lots of parts from chassis. I think engine and auto is 1986, body, spare engine and manual trans is 1989.
I really do not want to put A4LD here, but for manual transmission clutch slave cylinder and hydraulic pipes are missing.
