Thanks to Ford wanting to rid themselves of the 2004's, I recently became a F-250 PSD owner. I was a avid FORD lover before with my 2001 Excursion. Acutally I had a lot of help and great advise to build a great Excursion thanks to the folks on the Excurison site. I guess good enough that someone approached me to buy it. I must have been in the mood and next thing you know...I have bought a real truck....
If Monsta sees this thread...nice job on the Excursion forum.:)
Can anyone tell me or tell me how to find out how many F-250 Harley Davidson Editions they produced in 2004? They are serialized and I got #5600. But #5600 out of how many. Anyone have any ideas????
BTW...I have been watching this site for sometime in hopes of having the TRUCK someday. Sound/reads like a great group. :-X22
Your truck looks great, I love the all black Harley edition. There was one at the Indy Jamboree with about 8" of lift and 38"s that I wanted to steal. I think that might be my next truck. Those look like KMC wheels without the ring...nice choice, I think they look better that way.
I recognize your screen name from other forums...my wife has an Excursion so maybe that is where I have seen your posts.
DMONACH, I think the number produced is 6000. I know I read that somewhere but don't know where. my superduty harley # is 4xxx somthing (black@grey)and it was built feb of 2004 what is your build date? i'm thinking very hard on lifting it, but i definetly want to keep the stock wheels...,but not sure if 37x14.00 tires would fit and look good on an 8" wheel...
I placed an order for mine about 3-4 weeks ago. I saw a dealership document saying the HDs would be availalbe in November. I am not sure if that meant available to order or delivery. Either way, I am not expecting mine until Dec/Jan.
More or less went overboard. I got every option possible (there weren't too many left). I choose the rear bench and red flames. Lucky I have some connections so I was able to get mine at invoice, 41.5k.

Thanks for the response bigsbetter. I will have to look at the build date. I think it was 5/04 but can not remember for sure. As for your lift...do it....You would not believe the people that have approached me just within the 2 weeks the truck has been lifted. I could not recommed the Edge 4.5" Soft Ride lift any more. Great/better ride quality. I actually sold my rims and tires on Ebay for $1725.00. That offset some of the other costs. I think if you go with 37x14.00 the rims may look a bit out of place on the truck (IMO)without having a dished/lipped look, but if you went with a 315 I think it may look sharp... I suspect you are thinking of a 6"+ lift it 37" are your direction. If you do it let me know...I want a picture!

thanks, I thought that invoice sounded low. so with the 6.0L the invoice is around 45k
I agree. I was lucky enought to find one with the bench seat in the back (got kids and a dog) as well as the sunroof and the PSD and it invoiced at mid $45K. For a bit I though I got hosed.
I just picked up my all black HD, 6.0L, 4x4, every option. I bought a 2004 on the A-plan and invoice was 41,500. They gave me 2,500 for the 04 blowouts and upgraded the warranty 6 yr/100,000.
