harmonic balancer
is the harmonic balancer on a 351m and a 400 the same. i have been told they are and that there not. please help. i know the engines are the same except for the crank and pistons. i'm taking the 351m out and putting in the 400.

From what I understand, from the factory there were two different ones. In the aftermarket chain store world they're "universal" and one fits both applications. Check with some of the site sponsors, Summit, Jegs.... Some supplier may have different ones for each application.
