C6 mods

Has any one here done the mod for the C6 with the Ford HD 6 pinion wide ration gear set? I asked in the trans forum but got no responses so figured this is where the people are trying to get better performance. They say it can increase torque capacity by 43% and no machining in the case.

I haven't done it but it seems like a great idea. Lower 1st gear and like you said more torque capacy. When I rebuild my C6 I will be useing one. TCI installs them in there race units.

i am going to use one they are a good price too great for towing
