460 swap
hi guy's and gals, i need some info on swapping a 1976 460 d6ae-9c485-hf in my 78 super cab that has a 400 in it now. ive check several threads on this and have picked up some pointers but still need to know a few things. my truck is a half ton super cab with automatic, 2 wheel drive.my question is ,is this year engine(460 )external or internally balanced,i don't have the flex plate for the 460, will my motor mount perches work,will any of my brackets like p/s, alt etc. work since i have no brackets for the 460. also the 460 and the 400 have the front sump oil pan. any advice will be greatly appreciated. i come here often but this is my first post. mike aka oldcarnut
