shocks?

hey guys,

my 92 f150 custom 4x4 has 4 shocks on the front.2 per side..instead of 1 per side..is this some sort of option..or did a previous owner just jury rig something??

the quad shocks are an option that usually came with the lariat or eddie bauer eddition trucks.

yeah, only quads on the front, don't know if '87 through '91 got them, dad's '89 isn't here to look at, it's a Lariat.

my 89 bronco, as well as my 95 flare side have'em. I feel they are much better than just two shox up front, until it's time to replace them ( costs 50% more!!). I had a 92 with standard 2 up front and it didn't ride as nicely as these 2.
