Key in the ignition chime

White 2002 Ranger 4x2 3.0L V6 XLT 2 door supercab with the power group, auto, chrome wheels, mud flaps, body side molding, vent visors, and the 60/40 bench seat (this is my daily driver)
Don't pull the fuse.
Pull the signal buzzer or remove the ignition lock and pull the litlle plastic leaf switch out.
I disable the buzzer in all my cars one way or another. I also carry a spare key in my wallet. Most of my cars are set up to the same key also so I only need one key for my Fords. My daughter's 90 Trooper and son's 86 Starion are set up with the same key also. Therefore 2 keys work everything but I only carry the Ford key.
