Fuel Pump Going ???
Twice in the past few days, when I have pulled off from a stop, its like the truck is in limbo and wont go for a few seconds, when I stomp it a little bit, it goes ahead. Could this be tranny probs (automatic OD), fuel pump going.....????

1998 xlt check your fuel filter. my wife had the same problem with hers and i changed the darn thing and since then it runs like new and more power to boot...i cant think of anything else but what have you got to loose . i was the same way as you where from the start...good luck
