300 conversion

My '68 I just bought for restoration has a bad 300 straight 6. This motor is fron sump. How hard is it to convert to V8 with rear sump(460 or 302)? Any info is greatly apprec.

Welcome to FTE. I have a 71 with a 302 and a front sump oil pan.

all u gots to do is switch out ur motor mounts on ur fram,depending u may have to move ur tranny crossmember,but it is not very hard,realy,just money and time...
