Headers and carb question
After I fix the clutch, I am considering ugrading to headers and a 2bbl carb on the 223 6cyl in my '54. I know of two places for the headers and was wondering if anyone has had experience with either. Sac Vintage has a set of tube headers for $125 and Clifford has them for about twice that. Thoughts?
My other idea is use a 2BBL to 1BBL adapter and bolt up a small 2BBL to the stock intake. I have found the adapters for $15 which makes for a cheap swap. Does anyone think the 223 will benefit from doing these two things with out any other modifications to the engine.
