that many miles on a diesel is just breaking it in. is it a super cab or crew cab (full rear doors)? what part of the country you in? well maintained miles or hard towing miles? this price seems to be in the right ballpark if all the ideal conditions above are present. use kelley blue book and the like to get book value prices, and then start going down from that price. don't pay any more than book!
Hello Superdutymj, Thank you for your reply. The truck has a reg cab Pull wise they seem to all tell you it's pulled very light trailers. Is their really anyway you can tell differnt? I'am in western PA Pittsburgh. Is their any other good or bad points to look for? Did they make differnt size motors? Who makes the powerstroke? Thanks Ted
is there a gooseneck ball in the bed? if there is a drop-in bed liner, id check under there to look for evidence of a hitch being mounted there at some point, ie holes in the bed. as to the powerstroke engine, a company named International Heritage makes the engines. you're probably familiar with that name because they build farm implements, semi trucks, etc. The only size of deisel avail. was the 7.3 until i believe 2002-03 when the 6.0L came out. how long ago had the trans. been rebuilt?
