shackle flip
i settled on a 4" lift for my 97 F250HD, but have not ordered it yet. my problem arises here....a friend of mine was talking with somebody that has an F250 but it's diesel (mine is gas) and he said that there is a problem with the TTB when you lift this vehicle, some weak factory part. i have not talked with this guy yet, so i'm not sure exactly what he is refering to, but i do believe he is refering to something involving the TTB. he suggested, and i believe he did this with his, shackle reversal kits from sky manufacturing in the front and shackle flip kits in the rear. then maybe replacing the front leaf packs with leaf packs for the new super duty. does anybody know anything about a weak part in the TTB that may be a problem with a lifted vehicle? can anybody tell me anything about shackle reversal to achieve lift? any help is really appreciated. ithis is the first time i've lifted a vehicle and i want to make sure you do all my research and make the best choice. thanks.
