Well over the past two weeks I got two things accomplished... when are they going to start giving us more hours each day anyways....
Here is a picture of my new exhaust setup. I took apart the stock right before the muffler, and now it is just a straight-pipe with a dump. Sounds great, small rumble at idle... but when you step on it... yeehaw! This is also the front of my new ladder bar setup. I rid the truck of the old ones, and made these new sleek deals. They are 1.5" tubing, .25" thick wall. Some pretty heavy stuff, made me grin . I replaced my double heim joint setup with these bushings in the front, really helped to make these bars very solid.
Sorry the pics were in the dark.. tonight was the first chance I have had to take them. Wow.. really shows how bad she needs a bath
Did that elbow pipe slip over the stock pipe? I cut the pipe just in front of my muffler and would like to put a pipe like that that routes out to the side, probably in front of the rear wheel. I'm getting exhaust residue stuff on my bed and tailgate from having it just dump under there.

I hope I don't get residue... I wouldn't doubt it though with as much black smoke as i have at times...
... But yes that elbow slipped right over the stock pipe, it is a trun-down deal from summit... the price on it was right around twenty bucks.
my buddies which dumped in front the wheel out the pass. side left black soot embedded in his rear wheel and down the whole lower section of the bed .... he has since brought it back out the back. just remove muffler and get bigger pipe if u want the flow ... or there is always stacks
I intended to have a piece of pipe put in where the muffler was, by my local muffler shop can't do tubing that big. I might get a full exhaust this weekend at the truck show if I can find a smokin deal.

Tell me about it! I called every muffler shop I could find here in the College Station area. "I'm sorry.. we don't carry 3.5" or "I'm sorry.. our bender can't do 3.5" or "Yeah, I could order that part... it will probably be about thiurty bucks"
