WoW This has got to be a record for this chapter. Not one post since 11 this morning. Thats right it has been quiet all day no posting. Where in the world did everyone go? I didn't think this group could be quiet for 10 minutes let alone 10 hours. Well I should think there are people around that will start picking it up and letting the site know that KS is still around.
I'm still here. Been pretty busy at work and trying to get yard work done at home before it freezes. Re seeded my whole yard last night and fertilized. Been watering. We trimmed trees all weekend at my house and buddies house. Hauled 6 loads of branches from my house alone to his to the brush pile. It is getting pretty big. There was probably 10 trees from his house in it as well. And then we did alot of pushing and clearing trees down by the river at his house too.
All that and only 1 mishap. So there I was, about 15' in the air on the ladder with chainsaw in hand. 2 buddies were on the ground supposed to pull the branch as I cut it off. Well, It was bigger than they thought. The branches hit the ground and yep, kicked back and knocked me right in the face. Down I went. Road the ladder a few feet, then jumped. I landed on my feet from ,they say, about a 10' jump. Good thing for my cat-like reflexes. Kinda hurt my right ankle and back is still sore. But all is peachy. That happened Sat. early and we finished working all weekend. You should have seen the looks on their faces when they came running over there. As I'm sitting there on my butt (As I did fall clear on my *** after landing on my feet), the ladder laying beside me, and the chainsaw layi9ng beside the ladder. They were like HOLY ____!!!
I've been busy also. Work is kinda slowing down so I have decided to tear down the old garage, Put up some new fence and try and finish painting the house. Also benn busy trying to think up some ways to get the cash for a super charger. Alls I have to say about that is "Thanks Rollie"
Rub it in Tony just rub it it. Sounds like you need to spend your money around the house and let the truck alone for awhile.
Lets see here, my company just got bought out by a multi-billion dollar corporation and I am sitting in a pretty good position right now. Hmmm do I see bonuses coming my way (or my trucks way) Look out Tony I may be shopping soon.
I've been out of town. I went to Rowlett, Tx tuesday and today. Got to visit the shop of phoenix imaging and meet up with the STW crew. Man..those guys are even crazier on their home turf. It was a blast.
I'll be doing some work for PI so if you have any ideas talk to me.
