ive got a 1991 ranger xlt 4.0l .just added manual locking hubs got rid of the automatics . it goes into 4wheel drive good the problem is when i push the button it clicks , the 4wheel drive lights go out, it just doesnt want to come out until several tries and i mean several.very aggravating.any help would be appreciated.

 

Is your drive select motor stalled?
