dirtbike help

does anyone know what would cause a dirt bike to run threw 4 gallons of gas in an hour and a half its a 1985 kdx200 if it helps usual 2 gallons last al after noon racin but the other day it suked dowun 4 galons on 1 n ahalf hours

U check for a leak somewhere? If it just happened suddenly, you coulda hit something or knocked a hose loose or something.

the only problem with that is it would of revd up suddenly n it didnt i put it on reserve n got half way homt then reserve ran out

Needle valve is leaking or stuck open?

Do you have fuel leaking out of the carb vents?

Is there lots of fuel in the exhaust?

Lots more smoke than normal?
