gear selector slipping

gear selector slipping

The gear selector on the column has slipped...I think. When in drive it says it is in 2nd.,etc,etc. Any ideas how to realign that? Thanks.

IF you look under the dash there is a little black wheel that you can turn that adjusts where the needle is located acording to what gear you are in. You should be able to follow the little wire from the needle on the dash down to the little wheel.
