05 joke

i notice on my 05 that the new bumpers seem to bugle out where the tow loops are at. looking stright down at them there is not enough room to get anything thru them , at least anything with some beef to it ,, with out tearing the finish off the bumper . anyone else see that on the 05 's ?

I wondered about that as well, I use a tow strap a lot durring winter to pull out cars so this could be an issue. I guess I should try to set the strap hooks soon to see if they fit.

Same here. My 05 F350's aren't even hooks, but loops as stated. My tow strap is too thick to pass through. Maybe they are intended as shipboard tie downs, same as the ricers

Thanks 02superstroker. I will look around for the needed ancillary equipment. I'm a recent Ford 4X4 convert from Jeep & GM.
