I have a 1999 f-250 with the v-10 and at low rpms while not in park or neutral(like at a stoplight) the engine hunts from about 700 rpms to about 900rpms, I have no problems at any other times and the mileage has remained constant at about 12.5 mpg.......Vacuum leak? bad gas? plugs? ... ANY HELP will be greatly appreciated Thanks jd
Have you tried to reset the PCM?? Just disconnect the battery and let it sit for 10 mins. Reconnect and drive so the PCM will "relearn" the driving area.
