Cool Need Help.........

Have a 1996 ford F150 xlt ,short bed 302 engine. I purchased the truck about 3 months ago , it has a lift on it but i dont know how high.Any way the truck has 33'x12.50 x15 super swamper boggers that I put on it about a month ago ,it was fine till about a week ago when it started to shake when I am at 30 mph, when I speed up it stops. I took it to the shop and they said it was because the tires were 2-ply tires ,they said the balance was good.they suggested I take them off. What do you think I should do,I really like these tires plus they were not cheap.....

If you have the original tires and wheels, put them on and drive around for a small amount of time at different speeds, and determine if the vibration/shimmy is actually the tires, or if its a wheel bearing, or a driveshaft joint, or something else. Could also be the alignment is off. If you offroad or jumped a curb pretty hard its possible that the alignment went off. 2-ply mudder tires will make a lot more noise than regular street tires, but the noise doesn't suddenly appear out of nowhere. THe should be as noisy (or quiet) as the day you put them on, unless something is wrong.
