Overhead Console?

Overhead Console?

Has anyone added the overhead console from a 2002 XLT to a 2002 XLS? What is needed besides the console? Is there a special bracket, or is it attached to the roof? Thanks!

I remember reading a thread about this subject some time ago. Someone posted detailed instructions on how to do it. It may have been almost a year ago.

Maybe if you search the board you will find it.

Did a search and found the instructions for installing in a 98 model I think it was. I am looking for the instructions for a 2002 or newer model. The brackets and wiring are all different between the latest generation Explorers and the earlier ones.
