no heat/binding in front end
hi all, i have a 99 expedition eddie bauer. i've had it 2 weeks and it recently started blowing cold air. Is the blend door problems the same on the exp as with the explorer/pickups? is it the same setup with auto air? it started doing this intermittantly, but is now cold all the time. When i first bought it, an actuator was making a clicking noise, but stopped before this problem arose. Could it be related?
Also, after driving for over an hour on the interstate, the front end seems to bind once you get off the interstate. It felt like an older truck locked into 4low.

I have a '99 expy also with the same heater problem (so does my friend). The expy and the explorer seem to share the same blend door problem but they are not i9n the same location. The guys with the explorers are using a "Finishing nail fix" they we as expy owners can't. Do a search under "blend door" in the Expedition forums and you will find the fix for us is to spend a **** load of money, so I am still searching for a way to do it myself.
