I thought this would be a cool way to monitor my g e a r o i l and new 4:56 gears. It's a transparent cover made from polycarbonate material. The advertisement also stated it is as impact resistant as steel and it cleans easily with soap and water.

 

Cool! You'll be able to watch it easy now..LOL. Hey..to bad the rear end doesn't use water..you could put fish in it and give the people something cool to look at.

 

That should look pretty cool on the truck. Definitely be easy to see since the lift.

 

I've seen the ads for those, they look COOL!!! Can't wait to see it on the truck.

I'd like one of those on mine tony. But I'd have to carry a mirror with me just so I could show it off.

 

I have seen them they are made out of lexan and they say that they are as strong if not stronger than steel. I would believe it because lexan is bullet proof. That will definitely(sp) be a slick looking mod.

Well, I sent it back to Summit yesterday afternoon. The metal ring which surrounds the cover was FUBAR during transit so I'm gonna have to wait for them to send me another.

 

Man, thats a shame. But I am sure Summit will take care of it for you pretty quik.
