"Get your feet wet, the water's fine and we won't bite !" That's what I just read, so let's go find out. Bought myself an '87 F350 crew cab dually a month ago, using it as a daily driver, ok, so it's a bit big for that over here, but I can live with that. I'm getting quite a list of questions together that need answers, I hope over time you'll be able to give me those answers. Right now it's time to check my feet for bite marks.

A Belgium off-roader,
GUY
Guy, good to here from you, must start by saying how good your English is.
Thankfully, a previous owner fitted a straight 6 Cummins & 5spd manual 'box, pulled them straight out of a lorry and stuffed 'em in the engine bay, it's a snug fit. Being diesel it's not too bad on fuel, when I get a speedo cable sorted for it I'll be able to see just how good it is, and I'll feel better going past all the speed cameras. With the state some of our country roads are getting in, it's like off roading just going into town. Being 2wd I think it's best to keep off the dirt, don't think those big wide rear archs would last too long among the trees. Home is pretty much in the middle of the country, in a small Buckinghamshire village, nearest big place everyone will know is Oxford. Now that really is a place not to go with a dually, thinking about it, there's not many places over here that a dually will fit, especially car parks, it kind of spreads itself over 4 spaces. That, of course is after a lot of shunting getting into the car park in the first place. Is the truck too big for the country, or the country too small for the truck?. I know which I say it is.
I've bin in Oxford 7 years ago,and passed several times before,a nice region.
how mutch is the consommation of your truck with your cummins in front? It's hard to pay a fillup these days!I drive on LPG,for the moment still interresting!
I'm guessing about 20 miles to the gallon, maybe a little over that, because there's no speedo cable I don't know how many miles I'm getting to the tank, what I do know is, it's a lot more economical than the petrol V8 in my last truck. Had I kept that, it would have had LPG fitted, petrol is way too expensive over here.
