Predator or Superchips?
Growing up driving manuals I always used the right foot for brake and gas, but since my last two vehicles - F-150 and F-250 were autos I found that my left leg was getting bored. So now I brake with the left leg most of the time.
I did it when driving Karts - Tim would know a lot about this
- and figured that hey if it's good enough for Michael Schumacher, it's good enough for me.So if I feel that I need to pull away from a light without much delay, I just add in a couple hundred RPM above idle - just 0.5 lb of boost or so. Doesn't take much to spin the turbo enough to improve the of line response considerably.
Doing the left leg brake also lets me throttle up earlier on corner exits and makes the truck feel more responsive in general.
