Problem Solved!

For those of you that helped or were aware of my problem of having to prime my IL300 to get it started, I finally found the problem. The large see-thru in- line fuel filter between the fuel pump and carb was the culprit! It was dirty and I didn't know it was a see-thru filter at first.
When the engine was off, the gas would siphon out of the filter toward the pump and empty the line. When restarting, it just took forever to refill the large filter again. A small in-line filter from NAPA corrected the condition.
After a new fuel filter and carb re-build, I feel pretty stupid! Duh!!

A thanks and a correction!

Thanks LxMan1. In the last paragraph, I meant to say after a fuel "pump" and carb rebuild. That's from not reading what I've written before I post it.
