Anything is possible with enough imagination and money. I have a slight idea of what you are wanting to do and your best bet would be to go to one of those shops that do the conversion vans and custom interiors. They prolly have done something like that and usually will have pics for the oddball projects.
First, build thea frame of the seating area that you want in the back of the truck out of wood and/or metal. Then get some padding from an upholstery shop and form your seats. Finally, cover it with the fabric or leather of your choice. You now have a custom wrap-around seating area.
it wood be pretty simple!???? BUT you must know how to weld! metal fram would be the safe way to go but you could use wood. but using the orginal seat bolt patter would really help it stay in place. wrecks do happed
HEY i didn't mean to make it sound that easy just simple. and i go to school for welding! i just have lots of cool stuff i can use and the hottub idea is GREAT! lol
Hey guys... I got a small update on my progress. The project is going a whole different way but I am still very pleased.
I was helping out at my church auction and they were selling some old couches... I noticed this fairly small love seat type one.. I measured it and measure the back of the bronco and the couch was just a little smaller. Well, I ended up buying it for 15 bucks. Not bad for such good condition. Now those wheel well humps are in the way of putting it as planned but, it fits nicely to one side and even covers up one original seat mounts. Its not very tall like most couches which is what made it so perfect. I'll get some pics eventually. I still have some things to work out... such as carpet, lighting, subs, etc... Just a small update though.
