Has anyone tried C-betr mirrors? I ordered a pair the other day and had them the next day (shipped from Dallas to Houston std UPS). I mounted them on my new 05 CC PSD long bed yesterday and these things are amazing. I have no ties to the product or place I bought them from. Just heard about them and decided to try them. It really made a difference in my situation awareness while driving this beast. Just thought it was a great product that others on the FTE site might want to look into. Here is a link to the site I got mine from: http://qwks.com/xcart/customer/produ...3&cat=4&page=1
by towing mirrors do you mean the huge dumbo ear mirrors with the regular glass up top and the bubble mirror on bottom. if you do, then the c-betr mirrors will help out even more. the c-betr mirrors mount on the horizontal supports and are awsome. they help eliminate more blind spots and the amount of bug splatter that gets blasted off the towing mirrors at speed.
Well I have the factory towing mirrors as well and don't feel a need to augment what is already a great mirror combination. I can see far to the rear around my 36.5' Cedar Creek 5th wheel with the factory mirrors.
Ordered the C-Betr mirrors for my wifes new truck tonight. We were looking from mirrors to help with the blind spots. Something she noticed during the test drive.
I wish Fomoco hadn't even bothered with the goofy little convex on the bottom of the TT mirrors. About the only thing they are good for is to see where your back tires are. I've always added spot mirrors to last 8 trucks I've owned. Someone suggested the C-Betr's to me. Liked what I saw and bought 'em. Will have them again on my '06 when I get it. I even removed the stickon mirrors I've always used. With the flat [don't void your warranty ,stock mirrors] I can see to the horizon! They don't help you see the rice burner in the Peoples Republic of Ann Arbor tho that like to hang to the right side of the lane by the back axle, after you've passed him, then he/she decides to acclerate to the speed limit. These things are great! They are comparable to what the "big trucks" use and are almost unnoticable unless your in the truck.
I take it you guys do not have the stock towing mirrors, if you are adding those? The TT mirrors on my 04 are AWESOME!!!!
I have a Lariat with the built-in wide angle fish eye mirrors mirrors on the bottom. I use them for seeing blind spot traffic, and the C-Betr's for parking. They should be OEM.

You do know they're adjustable, right? (They're kind of hard to move, so it may not be obvious unless someone points it out.) I find mine to be quite useful, though I could see how the C-betr add-ons would make it even better.

Yep; I know their adjustable. Thought When I got this truck they might work. Nope, they didn't, so I just aimed them where they might do something other than takeup space. Do yourself and the body of your truck a favor. Try a set of these of these C-Betr's. They offer free shipping on their website and you can send them back if they don't work for you. I think once you were to try them, you'll aim that little joke so you can see the back tires like I'll bet everyone else does. Comeon now, there's nothing to be lost except 15 minutes or so to put them on, then 20 minutes on this site telling the world that dumbold johnday was right. [I like being told I'm right]
