i am in search for a new, hopefully aftermarket, crank for my 93 F-250, 7.3 IDI. summittracing.com does not carry it (although they carried everything else for an overhaul). for everything except the crankshaft it is just over $1,000. does this sound correct?
are aftermarket part like this, risky? any more risky than the original ford parts? how much should i expect to pay for the crank from ford or from any other merchant you may know of?
