Jeff, Question:

Actually 2 questions...

Do you have on-line a way to view your inventory?
Whats the best way to get you the info you need to help me with a potential
Excursion Diesel purchase?

Basically, what info do you need from me to make your job easier?

Van Bortel Ford's web site is http://www.vanbortelford.net, which does include inventory listings. Or you can go to http://www.forddirect.com, enter the ZIP code for Van Bortel (which is 14564) and look at inventory that way. FYI, you have to select a 2005 model when you first go to FordDirect, but once your in the dealer's inventory listings, you can select 04 models from the drop-down menu at the top left.

According to VBF's web site, they have two 05 X 4x4's in stock, both Diesels. One is a green EB and the other is a white XLT. FordDirect only shows the EB. But of course Jeff can tell you exactly what they have on the lot!

Regarding a purchase, I'd recommend you use FordDirect to configure the truck the way you'd want it, then send the specs to Jeff for a price quote. Make sure to give him your ZIP code to check for rebates and to determine whether you need to pay tax (if you live in NY) or just the $55 transfer fee for out-of-state registration. If everything looks good, then you can talk to Jeff off-forum (private messages, email or phone) and do the deal.

Good luck with your X purchase! (I'm jealous.)
