48' F1 Mirror Replacement?
I got a new mirror for the driver's door on my 48 Ford F1. I see that I'm supposed to pull the top hinge pin out and then mount the mirror. The problem is the upper pin is not budging. Any ideas? I appreciate any help you guys can offer.

I replaced the mirror on my 48 F1 this summer. I used a large C clamp and a socket over the head end of pin. The pin should extend below the bottom of the hinge. The c clamp and socket should allow you to break pin loose enough that you can use a center punch to pound out rest of the way. It worked for me hope it woks for you.
