I considered this when i was barely 16 and working for avis car rental as a mechanics assistant, he said that with the rod legth on the I6, it would be suicide, so im guessing you dont wanna go over 100 HP boost, if that.
PIMP is right 50hp shoot is all and probly more than the 300 will handle/ stock or modifide!!! that cam is LONG and it will brake!!! but venom does make one and it is set up for a 300?!!!
I would discourage any nitrous use with a stock bottom end. The rpm range of a 300 dictates that you will get double the torque that you will get hp from nitrous. When nitrous first became popular and accepted as a performance enhancer it was said that you shouldn't use it below 3000 rpm for that very reason. If you spray 100 hp at 2600 rpm you will add 200 ft-lbs of torque. Torque is what kill internal parts.
i installed my NX system with a 200 hp shot and just did my experiment hit the button and pulled 2nd gear well lets just say oil all over the ground big hole in the pan and side of the block yeah just like they said the rods didnt hold up now i can do my 460 swap ya'll have fun
NOS in a straight 300 = No Bueno. I'd give it a 80% chance of blowing something the first 3 seconds of use.

you were warned were you not? LOL im glad it was you tho, i was going to try it too... but not at 200, i would have been doing low end sprays at a set RPM as apposed to a button, IE i shift, with the NOS engaged, and it goes to about 2500 to 300 RPM and the nos kicks in pushing it to 4 but thats it lol.
