I fully agree with John and Carol....no classes, no dash plaques, etc...just all of us meeting to share the others truck and friendship.

Well....we discussed locations.....I'd like to suggest White Pines State park again if I may. We can park in the picnic area, grill/cook out, or eat at the lodge. We could hike some trails or just sit back and relax and enjoy the great company and trucks too.
Just a suggestion, Ron

Say John.......beyond Kankakee State Park..........does the Manteno have a forest preserve type area that would fit our needs?
Has anyone been in the Wilimington area to know what the North or South Island Parks are like now?
A show along the Kankakee river might be a great site as well.

Ron, Kankakee River State park is the only State park/forest preserve area that is close to Manteno that I know of. I haven't been to the Island park area in Wilmington, so I don't know what that's like.--John

I think the Starved Rock site would be cool. Kankakee is a shorter drive thourgh.
We have time to iron out the details for the chapter.

Hopefully the weather will clear long enough for John, our Event Coordinator to select a great grove/parking area for us in May.
He's done a great job and I'm sure he'll find the perfect spot if the weather allows a safe trip there and back for him.
I'd encourage everyone in the Chapter to make an effort to be there and we'll all have agreat time.
Thanks, Fastronald
