e4od....
my e4od doesn't shift right at all. when going to 3rd and 4th, the tranny shifts gears and then blaah, the converter locks like 1.5 seconds or sooner after it shifts. is there any way i can ut the converter on a switch or something to make it shift later at a more desireable rpm?? or is there any way to hotwire the tranny so that i can manually shift to each gear with a flip of a switch and another switch for the converter lock?. i tow a lot of heavy loads and its really irritating. i have a big tranny cooler with a fan on it. and it keeps the tranny under 170 degrees F. and how can i make the oil pressure inside the tranny more to reduce the slippage while shifting. what i need to do is get a truck with a standard, but i thought i could help this one a little. i have faith in the tranny, its just the engineers that designed the shift oints that have never pulled a trailer in their life... you know what i mean?
