I am thinking about getting one of those in bed toolbox aux. tank combos
Maybe 30 or 45 gallons that added to my 29 gallon stock tank would give me tremndous range.
I already have a TSC tool box in the bed so all I would be losing is storage space for the junk I throw in the box
Thanks Tim I found www.tranferflow.com has a 46 gal tank of 14 gauge steel, and also a 55 gal one from www.Areotank.com but only 16 gauge steel.
Does anyone know what Gauge steel the stock tank is made from?

I Have a 100 gallon aluminum tank with fuel sending unit that I had in my 95 F350. It worked great. I kept it when I traded but it takes up to much room in my new truck with short bed. I could drive for a month or more on a tank of fuel.

I have the transfer flow 46, and when they replaced it, they asked if I wanted the old tank back. I took a look at it, and it seemed to be heavy plastic, not metal. I said no, and by the way what are you going to do with it? They said they would take a sawsall to it so it would fit in their trash easier! Love the transfer flow, just wish the gas gauge would take to it better. The low fuel light comes on when there is still over 10 gallons in the tank.
I have a 55 gal replacement from www.aerotanks.com & love it. The gauge seems to be just fine with the way it mounts up. I've had mine for months & wouldn't trade. It does hang down about 2 inches more that stock & they didn't offer that info to me until I thought to ask. I have pictures in my gallery of it. Taller than I am. Wonderful on trips & pulling 5th wheel. Can go many miles & can be more selective on where & when you fill up . Give me a pm if you'd like anymore info, Rick
