Brake Lights

Brake Lights
I can't get my brake lights to work. The parking lights work. The turn signals work. But no brake lights. I checked at the brake switch, but I am not even getting power to it. All of the fuses are good. Anybody have a wiring diagram they could post for a 79'? I don't know where the brake switch even gets it's power.

there is a wireing connector behind the back bumper I believe it is on the drivers side check all of the connections and wires. I have had a 77 f150 and a 78 f150 and had the same problem on both.

Sometime's the fuse holder get's crusty on the back side where the wire's go into fuse box for the brake light's.I had this problem once on a plow truck that sit's all summer.cleaned up where the fuse goes in,and made sure their was a good clean connection on the backside of fuse box.Just a thought.
