Power Antenna

I have a 99 Ford Ranger with a straight antenna. We moved into a new house and the garage is just a little to short and my antenna hits it every time. Is there a place beside's the dealers to buy a power antenna for it? <edited by moderator>

I would think that there would be an after market kit for the ranger, try searching the auto stores on the net or you could buy a regular one that is slightly short to clear the garage.

I'm sure I've seen power ones at the parts stores too. But you'd better take some messurement first. Things can get tight inside those finder wells.

I thought about putting a power antenna on my '99 Ranger, but after looking it over. decided not to. It appears that Ford started with the antenna and built the truck around it.
