I have looked at over 120 pages, and hundreds of post for my answer. I know it is here, but I can't find it. Please Help.
I have a 87 f-150 4x4 with the famous flange type locking hubs. I need to tighten up the wheel bearings. I put new rotors on it a couple years ago, but just guessed at the torque. I have the oddball socket to take the spindle nut off, but I need to know the proper procedure for putting the nut back on with the correct torque.
I would hate to leave it too loose and lose a wheel, or too tight and burn a bearing. I plan on doing this today if I can get the directions. Thanks.
Thank you very much. I now remember reading that here around a year ago, but with the search feature down, and my poor memory, I could not remember what to do.
