Kickdown rod
Hello everyone
I'm a new member,just trying to figure this list out.
I have a 1977 F 150, has a 300 inline six engine,and a C4 trans.
I need a kick down rod for it,If anyone has one to sell, Please let me know.
I've called every salvage yard in the area,to no avail.
I'm from Pryor,Ok
I can pay for shipping & such if anyone has one.

I don't know if the rods vary from engine to engine but I see them on ebay quite frequently. There's one right now for the C4 but it doesn't state what engine (out of a Mustang so not a 300) item #2493420049. Keep checking there and you may have some luck. Otherwise I can check for one in our local yard but I won't be able to make it out there for at least another week.

Um, I thought it was explained pretty well . . . ebay (www.ebay.com . . . the world's largest internet auction) or a junkyard. I'm using the Lokar cable that Torque mentioned which does the same thing as the rod but is more versatile. You can view/purchase these at www.summitracing.com. Put part #LOK-KD-20C6HT into their parts search and you'll see it.

Hey Ivan,
I found this kickdown rod on Ebay Item number: 7927905332 , the seller said it came off a 250 inline six, went to a C4 transmission. Do you think this will work for a 300 inline six with C4 transmission??
Does it matter what type of Engine it comes off of?

I don't know much of anything about the inline sixers so I really couldn't tell you for sure but I imagine they'll fit just the same. I'm sure someone here will have an answer for you in a few. Good find on ebay!
