I found a guy trying to sell a superduty on a small lot and he is about to wholesale it, and If he can't get it sold in the next couple of days he will let me swap my stock stuff for his lift, but its a 99. Is there any difference?? I think its a 4 inch. How involving is a lift??
Good Question! But unfortunately I don't have an answer
The trac bar you will be able to see the difference (i think). I am not sure how you would go about measuring the axle tubes... I guess you could measure the circumferance with a piece of string or wire or something... or if you got new u-bolts you wouldn't have to worry about it at all.
You can check the build date of the '99, if I remember correclty the cutoff for an early '99 is 3/21/99.
I think the early '99s had smaller trac bar bolts, a different pitman arm, and possibly square u-bolts (but I'd get new u-bolts anyway).....at least that's what I seem to remember.
