I'm Joe. Hi. I'm a biker, as my name implies. I also drive (and work on as needed) a 1985 F-250 Diesel (old and it seems, getting kind of rare) -this 6.9L beast pumps out the black smoke and gets the job done -every time.
I'm also taking posession (in about a week) of a 1999 F-250 Superduty extended cab with a 7.3L Powerstroke. That engine has been chipped, and I'm happy to give it a new home.
My "real" job is a male nurse in a local hospital. I look forward to conversing with the rest of you, and finding answers (and hopefully providing some as well). I grew up on a farm close by (Plant City, Florida) and likewise am mechanically inclined, -and prefer to work on it myself if possible. Sadly, things are getting too advanced for us old shade-tree types, but there are still things we can do.
Take it easy,
-Joe
