Drive it like you stole it!!!!!!!!! Or how you normally drive it. Check for any weird sounds. If you have a friend that is a mechanic, have them look at it. Try to get the history of the vehicle, # of owners, warranty work, carfax (although this isn't perfect). Buying a used car is a gamble, but you can limit your risks with a little bit of work.

The OASIS report should tell you everything you need to know. If it's well taken care of, go for it. A well maintained vehicle won't give you as much trouble as one with a "spotty" maintenance record.
