What part of the brake system should I begin with for a solid lit ABS light in the dash of a 2000 F350, 7.3, 4x4?
I just replaced the pads about a month ago.................

Can it be in need of resetting?
It resets automatically. Check the search function and then the vss's on the rear diff and each front knuckle.
Vehicle speed sensor. Follow the wires to the top of the rear diff. Unplug. Clean. Plug back in. Drive. Light off? No? Follow wires down to steering knuckles. Not brake lines. Unplug from back of inner fender. Replace as shown by running code to see which one is bad.
What search function? I am a dummy; What is the vss's? I assume there's a sensor in these locations...........
Yea - the Search function may not help right now - system is in maintenance.
Remove the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) connector that is located on top of the differential (just above the pinion input, driver's side) and clean it. Make sure the contacts are clean. Then reinstall it. This usually does the trick.
EDIT: I see cwb slid in there first - so, plus what he said.
