Idling Problems w/ 6 speed manual
My truck does something weird. If I am idling around a parking lot looking for a spot to park, after I depress the clutch and release it a few times stopping and starting my truck will wind up to about 1300-1500 rpms and fall back to idle all by itself like I tapped the pedal. How weird is this? I never give it any throttle to take off ever. Is there an idle compensation sensor or something that changes the idle on the injectors or pumps when the clutch pedal is released? Its a 2004 6.0L 6 speed that was reflashed in Jan. of 04. Any ideas guys?
PS The "foaming oil problem" would that have anything to do with this? Cause mine is never over full when I add 15 quarts of motorcraft and it shows right on the full mark on the stick.
