I'm starting to look at a cam for my 93 F-250 with a 460. I have 3 picked out from Comp Cams. 2 different ones say that they are the largest for the stock convertor but one is a mechanical flat tappet and the other is Hydraulic. I have a 4:10 rear-end and dual exhaust thats it. I'm wanting to make it sound like I have a cam and would like to feel more pick up. I would also like to keep my low end torque a little higher in the RPM's is ok but i would like to keep it as low as possible. If I need to get a larger convertor I will simply because I'm getting my transmission rebuilt first. Any help would be appreciated.
