Filters for 05 PSD
Looking for a place to buy filters for a 2005 F350 SD PSD.
DON'T recommend filter1.com to me as this company will not ship to
Alaska as they only use UPS

Since when does UPS not deliver to Alaska?! If Filter1 has some free shipping deal, I could see where they would want to add a surcharge for Alaska, but anyplace you order from is going to have the same issue. I can't believe they'd just turn down the business rather than working something out, duh.

Strange thing is I can send stuff via UPS Ground but not get it the same way...
Wal-Mart can special order anything that the other Wal-Mart stores stock. I would see the General Manager.

No UPS ground to alaska - from alaska yes.
UPS second day air too expensive.

FedEx Ground which does have service to alaska.
I have gotten to the point I will not deal with companies that only ship UPS.
I really hate the ones that say free shipping to 48 states but won't even give you a break on the shipping to alaska. ie subtract what the cost to Seattle ground would be from the Alaska Second day service.
then you have companies like King Ranch saddle Shop who ship USPS but their machine is broke so they ship the stuff UPS Second Day Air even after you tell them it's not a rush and they still only charge you the original USPS price.
I could have them ship the stuff to my brother and have him ship it to me Fedex Ground but then I'd get stuck with the sale tax. Yea We don't have a sale tax here.
What really up sets me is I was going to order $400 - $500 worth of filters just to have them around for all three vehicles.

Our WalMart (Fairbanks) will not special order anything. They get what they get.
Even with the 2nd day air shipping costs, you will find that your filters are cheaper than what you can get them for up here. We go through DieselShop.
