Does anybody know the correct firing order for an '86 B2, with 2.9L V6? When I first got my truck, and got it running, the firing order was 4-1-5-2-6-3. After some problems with it, we changed the firing order to 1-4-2-5-3-6 (which is what it says in the Chilton book). And since we've changed it, I've lost about 60 miles to the tank. I was getting about 260 miles to a tank, and now I barely get 200 miles to the tank.
Also, do they make manual-transmission rebuild kits? I believe my transmission is going out, having about 160k miles on it and never having any work. I haven't checked around yet, but I plan on doing that soon. And is there more than 1 kind of 5-speed manual transmission (4-speed + 5th gear OverDrive) on 86 B2's?
