Got a question...

I have a question, i have a 93 ford explorer. When im driving and get around 55 mph and stay at that constant speed the car will start to shake. if i accelerate it will go away until i keep the acceleration constant again. if any one could help me id really appreciate it.

check your tire balance

check your tire balance...if your wheels are out of balance, it will cause a speed related skake like that....cheapest place to start.

Also check if the belts in the tires have seperated. No amount of balancing will fix that!

One of the easiest ways to check balance, is rotate the back tires to the front and then road test.
