summit headers for 97 expy
im thinking about putting some headers on my 97 expy 5.4 and i see that summit racing makes some for about one third the price of the other brands. has anybody out there used these same headers and how do you like them. i know they are just painted steel but you really cant even see them so i really dont need nice showy expensive ones. thanks

Don't do it.... They will rust out in little time.. Fitment problems.. which means leaks, or re-doing part of your exhaust. This comes from the old saying. Been there done that.. Summit was nice enough to keep sending me headers until a set fit... Still wouldn't bolt up. I ended up re-piping the hole system.. If you do buy a cheap set, atleast send them to Jet-Hot and get them coated. Later..
