I was wondering, has anybody here ever chopped the top of their Bronco2? Completely removing the rear side windows, making it truck-style if ya know what I mean.
I plan on doing that to my B2, but I was wondering how hard it is, and about how much it would cost.
Any help would be great!

I have a full custom Bronco II. The entire rear section has been chopped and sloped just like the Big Bronco. Instead of the huge lift gate in the rear a Ranger tailgate was molded into its place. Let me just say, first you don't see many of these rolling around and second it just looks plain sweet!!
I did my chop top a few months ago, and it makes a LOT of difference! Its not too hard, and the total cost was... about $30! A couple of cutting discs for the angle grinder, a 6-pack of beer for some tack welds, and a few hours of basic labour.
As well as the Ranger tailgate, the top rear corners of the Ranger box will tack in fairly easily, to cover the stubs of the rear pillars.
There are a few pics on my web page:

Well, I didn't cut mine all the way to the rear tailgate, but picture this. I cut just the cab portion out, making a true "targa" top out of it. Can't tell ya how many stares, comments, and general looks of disbelief I've gotten in the past two years. I considered taking it all the way back, but liked the way it looks so well that I decided to leave it there for now at least. That and the fact that it has no chassis under it at this time. In the early stages of swapping a 3/4 ton chassis under it.
